Highlights

Worked with clients around the world, from Singapore to Hawaii. Projects were mainly AWS setups with Kubernetes as the deployment engine, for cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain networks and end-to-end automation.

Evaluated and introduced new technologies such as Crossplane and vClusters (based on kiosk and loft), and ran internal training sessions on cloud technologies.

Led a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance and support to deliver projects and work through hard technical problems together.

Took part in pre-sales: meeting clients, gathering requirements and estimating projects, so each engagement started with clear expectations.

Highlights

Joined during the company's move to a DevOps way of working. Ran the initial training and found colleagues who could help drive the change: the switch to Infrastructure as Code with Puppet, automated Continuous Deployment, and a shift in mindset.

Maintained over 200 CentOS 7 virtual machines hosting microservices and middleware: Consul for service discovery, HAProxy, MySQL, Redis and more. When most services began moving to AWS, delivered the Terraform code and Python automation for it.

The final project was fully cloud-native: a lift-and-shift migration from on-premise to AWS, connected to the existing systems over Transit Gateway and VPN, deployed with GitOps through FluxCD onto EKS and monitored with Prometheus and Grafana.
